"Flotilla twenty five-04 is privileged to have both equally boating and aviation members. Our boaters assistance the United States Coast Guard on and off the drinking water. Procedures and missions incorporate: check out standing at USCG Station New London, weekend security patrols, courtesy boat security checks, community education courses (from basic to advanced on boating and navigation), maritime domain awareness efforts, and research & rescue. The aviation wing flies missions above New York Town, Lengthy Island Sound, the Hudson and Connecticut rivers, and Lake Champlain. Our air crews are critical belongings in the U.S. Coast Guard's mission to defend the homeland and supply air support all through lookup and rescue functions.
