Procedures and missions comprise of: see standing at USCG Station New London, weekend protection patrols, courtesy boat safety checks, manifeste education courses (from standard to innovative on boating and navigation), marine domain consciousness efforts, and research & rescue. The aviation wing flies missions in excess of New York Town, Extended Island Audio, the Hudson and Connecticut rivers, and Lake Champlain. Our air crews are essential assets in the U.S. Coast Guard's mission to guard the homeland and supply air help all through research and rescue functions.
