Procedures and missions comprise of: observe standing at USCG Station New London, weekend protection patrols, courtesy boat security checks, public schooling classes (from standard to superior on boating and navigation), maritime domain recognition efforts, and search & rescue. The aviation wing flies missions over New York Town, Long Island Audio, the Hudson and Connecticut rivers, and Lake Champlain. Our air crews are significant assets in the U.S. Coastline Guard's mission to defend the homeland and provide air help all through research and rescue operations.
