Flotilla Meeting Calendar – US Coast Guard Auxiliary | First Southern
January 25th, 2012 | Posted by in Uncategorized"Flotilla twenty five-04 is fortunate to have the two boating and aviation members. Our boaters help the United States Coast Guard on and off the drinking water. Operations and missions include things like: see standing at USCG Station New London, weekend security patrols, courtesy boat protection checks, general public education and learning lessons (from fundamental to superior on boating and navigation), maritime domain recognition efforts, and research & rescue. The aviation wing flies missions over New York City, Very long Island Sound, the Hudson and Connecticut rivers, and Lake Champlain. Our air crews are important assets in the U.S. Coast Guard's mission to safeguard the homeland and present air aid while in search and rescue operations. We are America's volunteer lifesavers, and we would be content to converse with you at your neighborhood marina, boat ramp, maritime vendor, or even the next boat demonstrate!Semper Paratus!".
