Procedures and missions involve: check out standing at USCG Station New London, weekend protection patrols, courtesy boat protection checks, community schooling lessons (from essential to advanced on boating and navigation), marine domain consciousness efforts, and research & rescue. The aviation wing flies missions through New York Town, Long Island Audio, the Hudson and Connecticut rivers, and Lake Champlain. Our air crews are crucial belongings in the U.S. Coast Guard's mission to safeguard the homeland and offer air support through research and rescue procedures.
